“YARD OF THE MONTH”

PROSPECTUS

SCOPE: Bring recognition to the residents of Lehigh Acres who enhance the beauty and community pride through their efforts and hard work by keeping their home and yard in pristine and beautiful condition.

PROCEDURE:

Receive nominations through Lehigh Acres Live members.
1. One (1) nomination per Lehigh Acres Live member per month.
2. Nominations will be accepted from the 1^st to the 5^th of each month via Private Message to the Committee Chairperson, Holli Jordan (leecontrol) thru the Lehigh Acres Live website.
3. If a nomination does not win, that property can be nominated again the following month(s).
4. The winner can only receive this award once.

The first five (5) nominations sent to Leecontrol will make the lists of finalists.

Nominees will be contacted in person by the awards committee. Nominees will be presented with an agenda of the process of this award. If a nominee does not want to participate, the next nominee will be added to the list of finalists.

Once the list is complete, the awards committee will then judge the outside of the home and evaluate the features and essence of the property by use of a checklist.

The checklist scores will be tallied. The winner will be chosen and notification will be made to the nominee, the Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce, the Lehigh Acres Citizen’s, and the Lehigh Acres News Star newspapers by the awards committee. This process will be completed by the end of each month.

The winner will receive their award and prize packet the following month during the Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce luncheon. The winner will be a guest for this luncheon and the cost will be absorbed by the Chamber of Commerce. If they cannot attend the luncheon, other arrangements for the presentation will be made with the winner.

The Lehigh Acres Live member who nominated the winner will receive a gift certificate from Lehigh Acres Live.
