 Who has enforcement jurisdiction over Handicap Parking Violators and how can the everyday citizen help in the enforcement of this rule?

Lee County Sheriff Office, Lee Co. Deputies and VOICE volunteers may issue tickets for this offense.That's my understanding.

The v.o.i.c.e people can write tickets for handicap violators but I have only seen one doing it,can't remember his name but he was one of the fireboard candidates.I think the rest are afraid to get out of the car I think an email campaign to the sheriff substation may get something done.

 

I asked about this awile ago and I was told to call # 477-1000 VOICE and tell them the location of the violation.

The way to report this violation is to call 477-1000. This is the non-emergency number for the Sheriff's office. The VOICE personnel are the one who usually respond to this type of violation but others may respond as well.
