Lehigh Acres businessman Bo Turbeville has resigned as president of the board that helped to draft a plan to guide future development in the community.

Turbeville resigned last night from the Lehigh Acres Community Planning Corporation, which he led as president for the past five years.

“I want to put more focus into the Lehigh Acres Weed and Seed,” Turbeville said. “I’d also like to make sure Hope Hospice here really works out.”

I was proud and honored to have been chosen year after year to be the chairman of the LACPC.  I was chosen not by any commissioners but by a board of Lehigh Acres citizens that represented their community.  I am very proud of the job that every board member and what the public did to complete the comprehensive plan for Lehigh Acres.

I am also glad to be able to move forward to help our community with the Lehigh Acres Weed and Seed project.

Sincerely,

Bo Turbeville
