I know that the LACPC is trying to create an Architectural Review Board which would give a stamp of approval (or not) for commercial development, but not residential.  Wonder what they think of Cape Coral allowing lawn parking now?

Funny...I wonder why I didn't think of this earlier.

If Lehigh Acres Incorporates then why would we need the LACPC? The City Government would handle all rezoning and development requests both for commercial and residential properties.

This is true. If Lehigh does incorporate, the LACPC  probably would be dissolved. This is what I have been told. Now, if the incorporation does not pass, the LACPC probably would stay.

I would love to be on an Architectural Review board.

To heck with the "Mediterranean Tuscany" look. This is Florida! Wide porches and metal roofs!
