3:12 P.M. — Lee County Commissioner Tammy Hall, commissioner candidate Robert Chilmonik, school board candidate Arnold Gibbs, Attorney General candidate Jeff Kottkamp and Governor candidate Rick Scott were the big winners during an unofficial straw poll compiled during the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce candidate "Hobnob" Tuesday at Tarpon Point in Cape Coral.
But the voting for county commissioner in District 1 was tight with Chilmonik collecting 25 votes, former Cape Coral Economic Development Director Mike Jackson with 24 and current commissioner John Manning 23.
Marco Rubio beat Governor Charlie Crist in the poll for U.S. Senator.
