Why can't they put chips in these offenders much like we do our pets. Have a piece of equipment in the schools and parks that will register these chips when their zone is entered. It could log their time and place in the zones.

With the technology we have, this seems like a simple thing to do. We must protect the children!

Perhaps that would be fine for persons on parole or probation, but is it legal? All the bio-implant that you speak of are about 7500 to 12000 US Dollars each and only have a range of 100ft.. Also you would need to build the detection tower 90 to 100 feet so that you would have 100% coverage. It is a good idea but not very practical is it. The best thing to do is to watch and teach your child what to look out for. I hope this help you out.

The offenders would ofcourse pay the cost of the chip.

What if they were to take it out? Is that possible?

We can watch and teach our children all day long. I don't see how that helps when they are stalked, over-powered and kidnapped. Predators are just that, predators. The best thing to do is to make sure those creeps can in no possible way harm another child. Personally, I don't care how that is done, as long as it's done.
