Taxpayers and Property Owners in Lehigh Acres should be very happy that the LAFD Fire Commission voted to keep your millage rate the same per $1,000 of taxable value as last year. That is 26% less then the rollback rate from FY 2007/2008. The LAFD is working with a budget that is almost $10 Million Dollars less than last years due to the decline in taxable value of properties in Lehigh Acres.
