Enough money to paid 1 1/2 firefighters for one year !!!!!
You mean to tell me that a LA Fire Fighter makes $100,000.00 a year....... You better stop eating before you go to sleep at night
That's what it cost to bring in and supply, outfit, train, insure and give benefits for a first year Firefighter / EMT in the LAFD, PERIOD
How about you going to Fire School and get your EMT then apply? |

If Medicare and Private Insurance will pay for the higher fees as they already have in other Fire Districts and Lee County EMS.

The Commissioners can always revisit it again at a later date. Now with the economy the way it is I am sure they want to try and keep taxes and fees lower on the ACTUAL taxpayers of Lehigh Acres. |
