I must say that it is necessary that he be dealt with. The alternative would destroy our fire department and make us all less safe. People need to know just who this person is and the what a bad mistake it would be if got elected.

I do not agree with most of his tactics and actions; but here it is down and dirty; Mr. Anderson is here, he has filed with the elections committee, he is running for the LAFD Fire Board. We must accept that.

What can we do about it? One person nothing, calling him names on the forums will not work; asking him to go away will not work either.

Most of us here are adults, and should conduct ourselves as adults. If you really want to keep this man from being elected as your fire commissioner, then I suggest you start a campaign with your friends and neighbors.

For years now people have called Mr. Anderson names on the forums, and he keeps coming back. . . this tactic does not work. We have plenty of time. . . let's ask him the hard questions and see what pops up.

For Robbie asking the hard questions doesn't work. He can't even answer the easy ones. All he does is complain about the LAFD. He offers no solutions to what he perceives to be the problems. All he chooses to do make falsehoods and innuendo. He has nothing to back it up. I remember him spouting off that the dept has no money to pay for the New Firetrucks and stations and offered no proof to back that up. Then Patrick Comer posted that the dept had the money and that the new stations and trucks would be paid off in a matter of months. What could Robbie do? He picks on Mr. Comer wanting to know why he was using taxpayers time and money to respond on the forums. I read right on these forums that Robbie said that he had run 2 multi million dollar restaurants, But when asked who these restaurants were, Robbie refused to answer. As far as I'm concerned he deserves exactly the treatment he gets. He demands answers from others, but doesn't think he has to give any.  

Robbie, I assure you and everyone else who cares that I do live within the boundrys of Lehigh and the Lehigh Acres Fire District. I own property and pay PROPERTY TAXES.  I have seen many questions asked to you on these forums and you skirt the question by not answering them and asking another instead. Here's some of them and a few more. What Qualifications and experience do you have to deal with a multi million dollar budget? Do you have any experience in Firefighting or how a Fire Department works? Do you pay PROPERTY TAXES? Have you ever stolen from an employer? Have you ever stolen from a friend? Have you ever stolen from a family member? Everyone especially me would like your answer to every question. You have said "let the truth come out."  Lets hear your truth. We are all waiting !!!!!!!  

What I meant was using Volunteers in a supprting role to fill in, not necesserly to fight fire but to assist the on duty Firefighters during a fire and help clean up afterwards. However there are a few problems with it. Who is willing to risk their life?  Who can be available to leave their job and assist when needed? How many employers would let them leave?  Do I seriously think it will ever happen? Probably not. We once had a Fire Explorer program for teenagers. They had weekly training sessions and meetings. Some of them would have made good firefighters. But a former Asststant Chief did away with the program for no reason. The new highschool off bell blvd has a class in firefighting. When the students graduate the class they are Firefighter 1 certified. All they have to do is continue on to get Firefighter 2 certified and they can get hired by a fire dept.  Thats the trick get them interested in Firefighting young.  

Let me ask you this then, why do volunteers risk life and limb to fight fires etc where there are ALL VFD's ? Why not have Mr Conner look into bringing back the Fire Explorer program for teenagers ?

Wouldn't this get teens off the streets, give them something constructive to do, give them a feeling of doing something good to better their community ?

Face it Anderson, I'M NOT GOING AWAY. Pretty soon others will realize that you are hiding something and will ask questions also. Are going to ignore them all? What are you afraid of?????

Robert, you're making an excuse not to answer questions. You have got something to hide. You just don't want to answer. Even if someone else were to ask them you would still find an excuse not to answer. I have never disrespected or embarrassed your family. You have done a very good job at doing that yourself. I will continue to ask questions of you until others do the same and you answer them. I will not go away.

I haven't disrespected his family. If he feels disrespected because of questions I have asked him, then he feels guilty about something. His actions both past and present are what is disrespecting his family. I bet if you ask just one of his family members they would agree.
