I thought all septic systems have a leach field.

I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather. Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car

Great advice everyone! I'm assuming you have septic tanks without leach fields. Is this correct and is there a different system for your gray water?

you wont find a septic system here w/o a drain field the county requires it.

Does boiling the well water 10 minutes make it safe for drinking?  Can you rince your fruit with well water?  Can you use it for cooking?

How much does it cost for the Health Department to test your water?

Normall drinking of your well water is safe. It is a good idea to have it tested since you are must setting up. I am not sure of the cost.

We were supposed to go back to Canada at the end of August, but we may postpone it for a week or two because we still have lots of landscaping, planting trees and scrubs. Time is going way to quickly.
