I was out and about in lehigh today and noticed that since bonnie was coming the price of gas at three stations I passed went up .12 centa a gallon.I will buy in Ft. Myers from now on.
I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather. Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car

The well in the Gulf was capped on July 15th and seems to be holding so perhaps it was this event and not the hurricane that led to the rise in gas prices. I noticed that the prices also went up in Fort Myers as i travel there almost every day. I believe there is a law against price gouging, see here: http://myfloridalegal.com/pages.nsf...enDocument

The price of gas is going up everywhere. He where I live in Tennessee gas has gone up also, from $2.39 2 weeks ago to $2.59 now. The price for a barrel of oil has risen 6 dollars in less than a week.

Nope, not here. With the way gas prices are rising you'd think there was one. I don't think I'll ever worry about a hurricane again. Unless I'm down there visiting.
