These are recommended settings for the forum. Click on "My Profile" and set up your profile as in the pic below. Click on Edit. Make sure you save your settings.
Select "Oldest First" from the drop-down menu and click on "Jump to First Unread Post."
Now Save.
Now when when you want to view the newest posts, just click on "Not Read" in the upper left corner.
Now if you see a "Down Arrow" next to thread name, click on it and it will take you to the part of the thread you have not read. See the picture below.
