This FMARC event is for new hams, veteran hams, prospective hams!

I've been a ham since 1993 and it's a great  hobby.  It can get expensive though.

Well, in the 70's I used to be a CB'er pushing a 500 watt amp and a d104 microphone. I used to talk all around the the world, but mostly Nova Scotia.

Hi LM,

Been laying low in the tall grass for quite a while, but this thread brought me out in the open.

Have been a ham since 1959 (November will mark 50 years on the air)..it'a wonderful hobby. One gets to meet all kinds of interesting people from all over the globe.

And FF110 is right, it can be a very, very expensive when taken to the extreme..guess it's like any other hobby.
