Neighborhood Accountability Board (NAB) Volunteer Training Session:

Residents and Community Partners of Lee County have the opportunity to change the path of a youth that makes a bad choice. Crime Harms Relationships Thus Weakens The Community.

 

Where: East Lee County Library 881 Gunnery Road Lehigh Acres 33971

 

When: 10:00 am to 3:30 pm

Volunteers are asked to complete an application, attend one day training and observe 2 conferences. (a background check is conducted on all potential volunteers) volunteers are not required to commit to a set amount of hours, any amount of time given to the program is appreciated. Volunteers sit on boards with the youth, youth’s parent or guardian, victim and other NAB volunteers to develop a case plan for the youth. Volunteers to develop a case plan for the youth. Volunteers represent the community in this process; addressing the harm caused to the community and how to repair the harm.
